Why I Started Podcasting
Social media is an industry that changes daily you could almost say every minute. It’s hard to keep up with everything, unless it’s your job to stay up-to-the-second on social media news. Since that is part of my job and my passion, I absorb tons more information on social media and technology than the average Jane. Recently, I started a podcast all about social media news called Social Media Matters. It’s my pay-it-forward and a way to share the latest and greatest happenings in the world of social media. It also features interviews with other Social Media community mangers, marketers, strategists and consultants. If you’re interested in being on the show, drop me a line I love to share other people’s career stories.
You can find a monthly summary recap of all the Social Media Matters podcasts right here on this blog. This way you can still get your social media news fix, without having to listen. (Or, totally go listen to them individually. Each episode runs about 10 minutes in length so its perfect for a commute, while you’re at the gym or just sitting at your desk.)
