It takes a certain amount of courage to live life to the fullest. Getting your first tattoo, camping, having a child or skydiving are all things that require true grit, in my opinion.
The kind of roll-up-your-sleeves courage that doesn’t come easily for everyone.
Since starting my first business in 2011 I’ve had the opportunity to meet more women than I can count, many of which I respect and look up to for doing things that honestly will change the world. These are women taking risks, living boldly and venturing into the unknown just because they CAN.
After each meeting or phone call with these ladies I’m totally energized and feel more inspired than ever.
I’m in awe of the determination, wisdom and spirit.
As an entrepreneur but more importantly as a young woman, it’s fun to meet new people and hear personal stories about this adventure called life.
It’s empowering and uplifting.
But, many of these stores and projects go unnoticed. As women, we aren’t always to best at tooting our own horn.
Think about it- when was the last time you told someone about your own awesome sauce?
Ladies your stories are meant to be told!
Listen up! If you’re reading this right now thinking you DON’T have any story, I could almost guarantee that you do.
That is why I’m creating a special series on this blog called The Bravery Files.
You Are Brave. Really.
Each of us, be that business owner, mama or young career women wake up each day taking risks to build the life we want.
Bravery is the common thread that ties us all together.
Each week on this blog you’ll find an interview featuring a woman (or duo!) headed for greatness. We’ll be digging deep and talking about balancing work/life, overcoming business challenges, inspiration and what it truly means to be brave.
The Bravery Files is a collection of stories that will lift you up, give insight as well as hope, and take you to a place of joy. Plus, its an opportunity to meet some pretty outstanding chickies along the way. Who knows, you may even find that jolt of energy you’ve been seeking or your next project partner from the community.
There is no better place to find clarity and purpose than within a community of driven women.
Let’s listen, connect and learn from each other.
Our stories need to be shared and voices heard.
Join me and become part of The Bravery Files project!
Want To Be Featured?
To be featured in The Bravery Files fill out the interest form here. Once it’s been submitted look to get an email from me within a week to set up your feature.
I’m aiming to showcase 1-2 women a week, so thats about 100 potential open spaces! You will need a short bio, a headshot or photograph of you in your element and about 15 minutes of dedicated reflection time to answer 10 interview questions.
I want to hear from you: business owners, moms, wanna-be business owners, side hustlers, full-time working leading ladies, makers, crafters and everything in between.
Do you know someone you think is brave? A woman who has taken a risk, put herself out there and jumped into whatever her heart desires?
Nominate that fabulous lady using this form and I’ll get in touch with her.
Be sure to check back each Monday to find the latest update from the The Bravery Files.
Cheers!
